Acxiom - Online Sales Tool

Objective

The objective was to build an online sales tool to evaluate the needs of prospects and clients relative to their new “Capability & Solution Model” with an attractive and engaging user experience.

Challenges

• Direct next step actions for client facing teams - Focus the sales discussion that follows the Capability Model presentation - distill the answer of questions into actions. Specifically, during the transition of a discussion following a presentation of the new “Capability Model” help the prospect and sales person find the right next step.
• Gather insight can use to analyze client needs – capture and record tracking information (SFDC ID, campaign ID, industry, etc), HTTP header information (IP to use reverse DNS lookup and find domain, referring URL, etc.)
• Create an attractive and engaging user experience. Interface will be hosted via web.
• Mobile compliant. The website need to be viewed correctly in an iPad, and the designs were to be made matching with iPhone interface.
• Create the animations without Flash, Thanks to the JavaScript library – jQuery. As its java script based, browser compatibility was a major concern. Also rendering the carousel and the effects to the question and answer tablets in jQuery (with the perfection we get in flash) was a big challenge.
