IR Database Management System
Project Description
This is for a UK based client who wants to develop a database management system for their Investor Relation Team. They have been using a system from Thomson Reuters and our objective is to replace that system as they feel they need better facilities for coordinated contact management, data management, analysis and reporting.
Objective
The objective was to build a system which will help the Client’s Investor Relation Team to manage their day-to-day activities. It includes contact management, IR activity records, project management and management reporting and we need to handle a large number of records. In order to allow for the possibility of the website being used for Sage Partners and other clients as well as Our Client, the site has to be created using Themes and Skins.
Challenges
- As this contains a huge amount of important data, developing a very secure application was a primary challenge.
- Mass-email personalized invitations and other messages, including attached files.
- Analysis and management reporting
- Have to implement the feedback survey questionnaire like a wizard.
Solution
- The contact management section is developed for managing the companies, peoples, contact details, projects, events and feedbacks
- This application is fully developed using Telerik controls.
- Management reporting has been done using Telerik Reporting.
- SSL protocol is applied to the whole site for the security.
- Mass email functionality is deployed using web services.
